Scope of works comprised: Interior design, installation of new fibrous plaster cornice, skirting boards, architraves, purpose made radiator covers and curtain pelmet. New lighting installation, full redecoration , reupholster of clients furniture item and the installation of new fixtures and fittings
Refurbishment – Waltham Abbey, Essex
The ground floor of the property suffered extensive water damaged, as a result of the public drainage system backing up and flooding, during a period of heavy rainfall.
The complete internal ground floor area had to be removed back to the main structure, this included all of the structural timber floors, internal partition walls, wall plaster and parts of the main staircase.
The clients decided to extend the scope of works beyond the necessary repairs and use the opportunity to change the complete design into a property that they had always dreamed of. The final project comprised the removal of internal and external structural walls, to provide more suitable sized living rooms, the installation of new full height French and sliding folding doors to the rear elevation- allowing light into the property and the option of enabling the living and rear garden areas to become as one. We also utilized the area under the stairs be adding a very bespoke toilet, new electrical and heating installations and a complete refurbishment of the property from top to bottom, creating a very desirable place to live.
