Luton Airport – installation of wine bar at the new airside departure terminal.

The qualifying criteria for working airside at Luton Airport is extremely stringent, this combined with the unique logistics involved in working airside and the tight contract period made this a particularly challenging project. The project was HSE notifiable and therefore a full construction phase plan was specifically developed for the project.

The client had commissioned the design of a retro Italian looking bar. We took possession of an empty designated island space within the new airside departure terminal at Luton airport and within the six week contract period we installed this beautiful bespoke bar, complete with specialist tiled floor and state of the art Dali lighting system.
